Making Baby Food

Homemade baby food undergoes less processing and is therefore more nutritious, better-tasting, and less expensive than store-bought, jarred foods. Share information, recipes, and tips with other parents on this board who are committed to or interested in making their baby’s food.

this is where I got most of my info. I have a 5 month old, so we're not experimenting with very much. Just simple things for now. But check out www.wholesomebabyfoods.com they have awesome tips on how to make it easier! Elijah's favorite thing to eat so far is blueberry applesauce. I buy frozen blueberries and cook them on the stove in a sauce pan, then blend them with applesauce to taste. Now that he's older, I even add a little yogurt. It's awesome.

Thanks for the link:) Devin is only 9.5 weeks, but I really wanted to know how to make our own food this time. Much healthier and cheaper too:) I have a while still until introducing foods to him.
