    Natural cleaners

I want to use natural things that I already have before I go out and buy all new cleaning products.

Does anyone know of any websites or books that have recipies for cleaning products made from things like vinegar, baking soda, etc...?

Well there's givens, like 50 /50 water and vinegar for glass cleaning, or baking soda as a laundry detergent, but I'm a huge fan of the natural brand "biokleen" It's phenominal, and all the products are 100% nontoxic and biodegradeble. What's better is that they are affordable, which is a big concern, because most "natural" products out there are twice as much as the chemical version. Biokleen is family friendly on more than one level! I still put cabinet locks on my kitchen cabinets to keep my baby out, but I don't worry at all, because nothing under there can really make him ill, probably only just taste bad! My favorite product under their line is "bac-out" It's a laundry and carpet stain cleaner, smells like a lime, uses enzymes to cut biological stains, and nothing gets pet or kid messes out like it, not even traditional chemical agents like resolve. I started using mostly nontoxic products, even body care and bath items, when I was pg, and as long as I have children in the house, I will never go back! A while back, someone posted a thread on a news video called "the disappearing male" (you could probably still find it if you google it) that talked about the unknown impacts of even minor chemical exposure on our reproduction and our children, specifically cancers, male fertility and the birth of male children. It was horrifying, and made me glad that I'd made the switch to entirely nontoxic products a long time ago. Good luck!!
