Gretchen's 6 month Dr. appt

  Gretchen's 6 month Dr. appt Reply Contact She is 18 lb 4 oz (Still 90th) and she is 26" long (50th). She had two shots and a finger ***..and did fairly well with it. Couple tears and then smiles again. I am really surprised shes in the 50th percentile for height b/c I'm only 4'11" and my husband is only 5'4"...then again, she's only 6 months and I'm sure it'll change. Another thing, her eyes are still blue and are not muddy. My husband and I have brown eyes, but my mom has blue. I never thought I'd have a blue eyed girl. I remember towards the end of my pregnancy I had a dream about her and her eyes were blue in my dream and they stayed blue and I was upset in my dream b/c she was going to look like us. Now, I love her eyes and couldn't picture them any other color. ****LMAO...where it has the *** it's suppose to say finger P*rick....guess that is a naughty word...hehe

  Re: Gretchen's 6 month Dr. appt Reply Contact  LOL that it blanked out pr!ck!  She sounds like she's doing well!  Babies all grow differently.  In my old birth club, the biggest baby wound up being the smallest of all of them.  I hope her eyes stay blue.  If you each have a recessive gene, it's possible, right?  Eye color can change for years.  Lindsay's eyes have been blue, but are starting to look more gray/green, and she's 4.
