    9 Month Stats

Ian James turned 9 months on 9-26-09.  He went today for an ear infection check-up - not actually his 9 month well checkup.

    Height - 29 inches

    Weight - 20 lbs 5 oz

    Teeth - 0 - Big fat nadda

Eating - Almost any table food you will give him, though he spits out lima beans (haven't seen this, but his teacher tells me), Stages 2 & 3 baby food, Puffs/Yogurt Nibbles, Yogurt, Cheese, etc, etc, etc.

Accomplishments - Crawling, cruising, pulling up, climbing stairs and everything else, and generally exploring like a monkey.  Will stand alone without support for a moment before he realizes he is standing and sits down.  Says ma-ma and da-da, though ma-ma mostly only comes out when he's upset.  Great problem-solver, and it's hilarious to watch.  Loves to drink his milk and water out of his sippy cup, either assisted or solo.

Issues - Seeing an ENT tomorrow for possible tubes on Friday.  Wish us luck!

Teeth- 6 and a half, lol one still in process

Accomplishments- Cruising furniture, letting go at times, discovering everything, learning on a sippy cup but still loves to breastfeed best, says dada, baba, and gaga, no mama yet but I keep waiting, sleeps over 8 hours at night, goes to sleep by himself like a big boy, tries to give slobber kisses, started using a pincer grasp with just two fingers, bangs things on table, has started showing a little stranger anxiety

All in all he is growing great and is super healthy :)

    Re: 9 Month Stats

This isn't quite his 9 month stats, as he went in at 9.5+ months but here it goes:

22 lbs 11 oz; 30.5 inches tall, 18 inch head circ.  My little slim jim isn't so light!!

Victor is a pleasant, happy, ACTIVE baby.  He's walking, signing, and saying the basics: mama, dada, nah-nah (while signing milk), and he makes noises at the dog when he sees her or any other dog.  He's very observant, independent, and starting to actually listen to "no" when it comes to picking up things.  He loves to pick out things and listen to my brother play the guitar, adores Elmo like he's the greatest thing on Earth, and can't get enough of being outside.  He's a wonderful baby!  Teething has been very rough for him, it's been over 2 weeks since the little tooth dots have appeared and his gums are still barren.  We just started early potty training, and he's taking to it quite well, I'm hoping to have him fully trained by 15 months.
