    He's getting brave

I have been trying to work with Steven. I have been standing him up making sure he is standing flat on his feet. I have been letting go and he is standing for about 3 seconds. Well today a couple of times he let go by himself and he is standing for about 6 or so seconds. He does transfer from table to couch and so on. So hopefuly soon he will be trying to take steps.

Is Steven the only one left not walking?

Aeryn takes 5 or so steps, but then drops down and decides that crawling is faster Big Smile  She has also taken to getting on her knees (no hands, looks like she's kinda standing) and hopping across the floor.  It looks hysterical.  My middle son Evan used to do it too.  It looks painful, but she enjoys herself, so whatever floats her boat! Big Smile

Now that you mention that Steven has been on his knees too. Not hopping just sitting. So I do know what you mean.

No really I will not feel that way. I know what I'm in for because of Jesse. Steven is already into everything. Walking will just keep him cleaner. Even tho' I clean I hate that he is crawling on that floor.

    Hey Paulette,

I am one of those that do alot of reading and not much posting!

I just wanted to say, that the average age that a child starts walking is 15 months.  Steven is a long way from being late!

I am sure you have noticed differences between your other kids in a variety of areas. Although, this group does seem to be a bunch of early walkers. I certainly would not be worried, let him do what he will do, he will get there in the end.
