It's caused by the position of the baby gets worse if you strain yourself, like lifting heavy objects, walking too long. I suggest you relax a but and try some hot/cold packs to relieve the pain. Sorry you have to go through this. I've felt it and it's been awful.

She's taking a nap, which is very unusual for her. She's got a stuffy nose and she's been really clingy. No fever, so that's good.

  Re: 2009 by 2009 Reply Contact Yes! It does sound like sciatic nerve pain. You can do stretches and if you have the time/money I'd get a massage and tell them to focus on that area. Google images "Piriformis stretch" and you will see lots of stretches for it. Sciatic pain is not necessarily coming from the compression by the pirformis but it often is so that is my best guess not seeing you in person. I would definitely talk to your doc about it on your next visit. I hope you feel better!! Mindy3046968: I have been having serious issues with my back. There is a little nerve in my very lower left side of my back that is being pinched. It hurts every time I take a step. Every time I bend or reach for something.. I am getting worried as if this keeps up I will not be able to walk… Anyone eles having this issue? Any suggestions?

I have a soap called tuesdays child... it smells like tea... DH loves it... I was a Thursday child- you can take it positively that they'll travel a lot. I have anyway and visited a lot of cool places. dh was a Monday child. The baby is supposed to be a Sunday child if you take the official first edd. And Saturday if you take the 2nd. Anyway, I'm just glad it's not Wednesday!

  Re: 2009 by 2009 Reply Contact Thanks ladies for all the info. I have spoken to my doc about it yet I just get the ole “part of pregnancy” card.. I am having a hard time believing that with all the pain I am in its ok just because I am pregnant.. there has got to be some damage being caused… right? I got it really bad about a month ago after trying to carry a basket full of cloths up stairs… let’s just say the DH does that from now on.. But from that point it comes and goes. Some days with out any wrong doing (heavy lifting ect) it will just start acting up. Yesterday it was so bad I had to walk like I was 900 years old, but today it is soo much better. I can still feel it but it only slows down my walk with certain steps. I am going to google those stretches as recommended. Thanks ladies!

We both still have our CDLs (commercial driver's license) Who knows if I'll ever drive a bus again.. but ya never know! How did you meet?
