I had a lamp with out a lampshade on the floor in my room and I fell on it the other day and cut up my hand pretty bad and have glass shards stuck under my skin. I'm not worried about me so much as I am about the baby. She was sleeping in my bed when I did it and I just cleaned myself up and went to bed also. What I didn't know is that there is mercury in the bulb b/c it's an energy saver bulb and I should have cleared and aired out the room and taken special care in cleaning it up. I haven't yet cleaned the bulb up b/c I'm scared of getting cut more so we've been in the same room as it. I'm so nervous that this might affect her in some way. DH keeps telling me not to worry b/c it's such a little amount, but every where I look online it seems like it's a big deal. Why wouldn't they have a warning on the package? I took the package out and looked and there was nothing, I even tried searching on the Sylvania (the brand) website and found nothing. Does anyone else have any experience with these light bulbs?
