    Growth and baby clothes..?

    Okay, so here's my issue.

My DD is 8 months old, is in the 55% for weight, and 99% for height.

She's still in 3/6 mos. or 6 mos. (and  0-3 mos. in pants/skirts) clothes (not 6/9)

I'm worried she isn't growing well, even though she eats constantly.

Does anyone else have issues with baby clothes sizes, and the size of their child?

It just seems odd to me that the only pants that don't fall down to her knees are size 0-3 mos. and the only onsies/rompers/dresses/shirts are in 3/6 mos, and an occasional 6 mos. size. NEVER 6/9 in ANYTHING they all fall off.

    HELP!Confused

They don't put much effort into making baby clothes for every fit.  We have had the same misproportion with our kids.  Mason was 45th in weight and 75th in height (mostly from head to rump length).  He could wear 0-3 shirts and pants, but grew out of anything that buttoned in the crotch within a month.  My baby girl is the same way.  She can wear 6-9 mo in anything that doesn't button in the crotch (onesie-style).  Otherwise, its gotta be 9 mo or 12 mo.  She's only 5 months old.

For growth worries...doctors like to see them relatively on the same curve throughout.  If they drop a curve here and there, no big deal.  If you're little one was 99% for weight and 99% for height at 6 months and is now only 55% for weight at 8 months, they might worry.  But if its been relatively the same %ile since birth (give or take 10-20 %), then I think everything is fine.  You're just gonna be like me with my older kids.  Buying Children's Place adjustable waist band pants!  LOL  I buy one size too big in long pants (so that they are long enough) and then sinch up the waist.

Thank YOU! I'm thinking they should make a Big & Tall section for babies, just like they do men! lol

I stopped buying sets - (boy, 2yrs)the shirts are history before he grows into the bottoms, so they don't stand a chance of being worn together. Shame - there's some really cute ones out there!

OMG Nash is 3 months old now and wearing 6/9 mo onesies and 0-3 and 3-6 pants. Hes tall and his chest and arms fit in the 6-9, but hes got skinny legs and waist I guess cause if he fits in the waist they are too short, and if they are long enough they are just huge on him.
