I have been having trouble with my milk supply when I pump and have tried almost everything they say to increase it. Oatmeal, chewing anise seeds, mother's milk tea, increasing pumping sessions, increasing pumping time, etc. Nothing is working for me. My baby is usually satisfied when I breastfeed, so I don't think it it is a true supply issue but that I just can't pump enough for him while I am away at work.
I am using an older breastpump (it is a Medela pump n style, probably 4+ years old), do you think it could be the pump that is the problem? I was thinking of purchasing a new pump to see if that would help, but didn't want to spend the $$ if it didn't seem to be a logical solution. I guess I may have to just be satisfied with the fact that I will have to supplement while my little guy is in day care.
Thanks in advance!!!
