When you switch to whole milk do you warm it? Its been seven years now and I can't remember.

I always warmed my for the first few weeks or so and then tried to transition my daughter into the cold milk. I will probably do the same for my son (almost 11 months) when we switch him next month.

    Re: whole milk

I have started to switch my son over, and he absolutely refuses to drink it cold. He will take a few sips, then he's finished, but if I warm it a little, he'll drink it all.

i would just get it to him cold, thats what i did for my son. i just think its easier to make the change. if you start out by warming it up then when you do go to give it to him cold then he wont take it. and what if your out and you cant warm it up then what you'll have a screaming baby.

    whole milk

yes when you first start them on it but , give it 3 more months and he shoud be good to go on cold milk, for now it is to cold for his little throat to handle the chillin sensation, be carful the cold milk if not warmed can put him into something called {cold throat shock}its where the milk freezes his throat tubes {food way only} but it does not and will not stop him from breathing so just make sure the milk is warm. if you have any more questions you can email me at [crazyadizer21@yahoo.com] my screen name is [ BsPregnant ] or [ BsPrego3/24/09]

do not add sugar. i've heard that that can lead to cavities, and its then considered a sugary drink, and it can also become a bad habit.
