.....as I've mentioned previously, both Rachel and Simon have been diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). We don't know exactly where on the spectrum they fall, but we do know that they both have issues that need to be addressed.
Earlier this month, I started a blog (the first one that I'm serious about -- made a few other attempts without any real progress) and have found it really therapeutic for me -- just putting my thoughts and ideas out there. One of the things that motivated me to do this was to be YET ANOTHER source of information out there, but to try to be more objective than some others I've seen (when presenting scientific information). So many places are misleading as to the cause(s) of autism and what directions we should be taking.

I ENCOURAGE ANYONE TO MAKE ANY COMMENTS, even if they disagree with what I'm putting in there -- to date I have only rejected 1 received comment and that's because it was a duplicate and I immediately notified the sender as to WHY her comment was rejected.
