    saw a midwife this morning

i wasn't measured, which is ok, i'm HUGE, that should sum it up nicely...jack has dropped...she found his heart beat right away, WAAAAY down at the bottom of my belly...it seems that, by touch, abbey has turned transverse...so they are like a big T in my belly right now...my feet are super swollen..my blood pressure is a little high at 126/86, it's usually more like 120/70..my weight was 307...the highest it's been this pg, i'm putting a lot of that on water retention if my feet are anything to by...that's about 10 pounds in a week, which makes me think even more that it's water retention...i asked about the going in to labor on my own u/s first thing...she told me that when i go in to labor to just ask them to take a look to see how the babies are laying....if my body is doing what it is supposed to and both babies are laying head down, which is the only way i'll deliver vaginally, i definately don't want a section, might as well let the body do it's thing...i have midwife appointments scheduled for the 10th and 17th..then i have a presurgery appt for the 24th and the section for the 31st...there seems to be a general consensus that i won't make it to the 31st...they are even wondering about making it to the 17th, let alone the 24th...so we'll see how that goes...i also asked about the size difference between jack and abbey...i figured out that in the 4+ weeks between the u/s...jack put on about a pound and abbey put on almost 2...she told me that they are doing fine, there is a 14% difference and they allow up to 20% because as the pregnancy progresses the more inaccruate the sizing gets...if that's the case, then why do they bother?
