    yep, STILL pg!

HAHAHA!!!  i'm hurting seriously and i have yet another person telling me that jack is AMAZINGLY low...the midwife was surprised at how low he is and how high abbey is..i told her abbey is trying to kick him out of "her" room!  i'm 35 weeks and 2 days....i asked her to check my cervix...she did a slide and said all the stuff coming out of me (tmi, so sorry!) is a combo of the usual nastiness of pg and mucus from my cervix because of jack putting so much pressure on it!  my cervix is still pretty thick and not doing much (i'm thinking that means maybe a finger tip)....but it IS soft, so there IS some hope!  i'll ask to be checked again next week when i go in...it seems the e.p.o is at least helping a little!  i have another growth u/s on the 23rd at 1...i'll be 37 weeks then...honestly, i really would like to be at least over 36 weeks when i deliver...closer to 37 would be nice, that would give me almost 2 weeks before the kids come back (and about a full week at home) and that will be nice to spend adjusting to having the 2 new little ones...i gained 2 pounds this week...which tells me even more that the almost 10 pounds i gained LAST week definately was the fluid that is STILL crowding out my feet and ankles..i've NEVER had swelling like this before!  i still don't have my bag packed..i'm not feeling the rush to do it...and i keep thinking "well what if i need that bra that will be packed or those jammies?"  same for izzy...it's hard finding his jammies that fit, he goes through them so quickly it seems like they are ALWAYS dirty, so i don't want to pack them too soon, kwim?  i didn't ask what i was measuring or what my bp was, i forgot..linda told me when she saw me that i don't look "that big" at least until i turned so she could see me from the side and she was like "WOW you are HUGE!"  jack's heart rate was 145-150 and abbey was 155...they are both doing well and causing me all kinds of torture...ah well, it's worth it...that i know...with how they are laying, if i go in to labor on my own, while it will be up to the doc/midwife combo who is on the floor, i will still most likely have a section, which i am ok with...i think it will also depend on how quickly i were to progress...i keep waiting to wake up with horrid contractions and what not, but it hasn't happened yet!  i do get them, and rather frequently, but with no real pattern to them, go figure...

I remember the misery well...lol.  It is definitely worth it though.  Get your bag packed woman!  You will regret it if those babies surprise you and you aren't ready to go.  Keep up the good work Mama!

Ugh, hearing you talk reminds me too much of where I was last summer!! Stick out tongue Tina's right... every day you can keep them cookin' is one day you don't have to worry about visiting them in the NICU later. I know the misery all too well... Kellen and Lucy were delivered at 38 weeks exactly and I'm only 5'0". Hang in there... it won't be long before you'll think this pregnancy flew by! Good luck and I can't wait to see pics of Jack and Abbey!

Oh, I know how you feel!  Hang in there!  The longer they stay in, the better!  I was 38 weeks, 5 days when Emmy & Joey were born.  Good luck!
