    Current obsessions?

Just thought I'd start a post to share current obsessions of  our toddlers.  Songs, books, TV shows, toys, sayings, food, behavior, ect?  Whatever you can think of and want to share.  Smile

    Lindsey is obsessed with...

My Little Pony, Strawberry Shortcake & Care Bears...toys and dvd's (Mama is happy to feed these obsessionsSmile).

    Eating cheese.

Caillou & Make Way for Noddy...TV shows.

    Screaming very loudly!

Repeating what you say and adding "Ooooohh" to the end of it.

    Coloring...especially with markers.

Not letting me brush her hair (this one really kills me...hope it's short-lived)

Boo-boos...she likes to show you hers and look for boo-boos on you.

That's all I can think of.  Hope everybody else shares, too!!

Gary loves to be read to and waste shampoo/conditioner in the shower. We don't spend much time with the tv, but he enjoys watching monster jam on the computer and playing at http://www.starfall.com/n/level-k/index/load.htm?

Adria is obsessed with everything being 'just right' for her. If it isn't, massive tantrums ensue. And this changes based on mood. Lots of fun thats for sure.. She still loves Dora, some 18mths on. We are trying not to buy any more Dora stuff though! Hmm, can't think of anything else she really likes to do right now. Oh she is obsessed with talking in a squeaky voice when she is upset, or when she is talking to her baby brother. It drives me NUTS!

Kaelin is obsessed with Princesses, babies and Buzz Lightyear.  She wants to watch Toy Story all the time. LOL  Her favorite tv show is Toopy and Binoo (not sure if you have that one down there).  She's always asking for a hamburger, and freaks when we drive past a McDonald's and don't go in.  It's crazy because we rarely eat there!  Hmmm.....she extremely independent and wants to do everything herself.....spreading the peanut butter on her toast, putting the lid on her juice cup.  It's so frustrating because she's just not co-ordinated enough to do it.  She also hates letting me brush her hair and runs every time she sees me with the brush.

Carter's current obsession is BARS OF SOAP, EAR PLUGS, PANTS WITH POCKETS and CHICKEN LITTLE.  LOL.  Seriously though on the bars of soap.  That's the only thing that keeps him from crying at daycare.  He has to carry around 2 bars of soap (out of the box). And he has to have an earplug in his pocket.

Quentin is obsessed with Blues Clues (the old ones not the new ones--- he can sing and dance to all the songs like steve. He even has a chair in our house that he calls his thinking chair.)  Puzzles, Cowboy boots, and making EVERY object into a car-- he just..  (he did it with bread and a chip last night at dinner-- driving it around and making car sounds). Oh and the obsession i hate the most... My nintendo DS- Mario in particular. I gave it to him a couple of times to keep him occupied in a public place, well since then he has actually learned how to play the stupid thing. His dad is encouraging this-cause he wants him to be a gamer or whatever- ugh but I don't understand how my almost 3 year old knows how to play Mario. He doesn't just sit there and push buttons, he KNOWS how to play the stupid game.

Evan is in love with everything Kachow (aka Cars), we're doing his room in Race Car stuff.  He loves Diego and bugs. He loves playing the "Rock-Tar" usually is one of his golf clubs and reinacting WWE matches with Chase just about anywhere in the house.
