    How is everybody?

Things are always busy with us. I'm enjoying this time with Brockie before he starts preschool next year.
Magellan just has this year of preschool to complete and she will start Kindergarten next year. She just turned five last Thursday. She continues to enjoy dance class.
Things are a bit wild with two different bus times in the morning and afternoon with Noah in elementary and Lief in middle school. Both boys are struggling a bit Noah in language arts, it just doesn't come easy for him and I already held him back a year in Kindergarten. Lief is in honor's classes and his grades are below the level they like (B). His problem is getting assignments turned in on time (organization) he gets A's on most of what he turns in but they give 0's for anything not turned in on time and this is hurting him. I think it's something he is going to have to work out, I don't know how much I can help with that at this point and I feel bad about it. I don't know what they'll do with him. He aces the achievement testing at least up until now he has but it is a worry for the poor guy. I haven't been the best influence because organization is a weak point for me too. He is getting into choir and band and still loves soccer so those things are balancing things out for him a bit.
Husband continues to work and travel. We've had a bit of a break from the travel and that has been nice.
I am only working every other weekend now and am on call so that I can be home to help deal with the extra needs at home with bus loading and unloading, bowling pickup, driving kids to soccer and dance etc. My health seems like it's leveling out a bit, I'm not having my episodes any more where I feel like I'm just going to pass out. My only problem now seems to be headaches that I'm getting so it is a bit of an improvement. I think it was a post viral thing after having the chicken pox and then the cardiac ablation was a hit to my body too. So I am happy that I'm starting to feel a bit better. The extra sleep of not getting up at 5 am everyday is really helping. I am going to an endocrinologist this Friday just to make sure it's not a thyroid or adrenal gland problem.
I hope everyone is well and doing okay with the job situation. It was a somewhat difficult decision for me to make to give up my spot but all things were just pointing to the fact that it wasn't working for us. My parents too are getting older and they were my childcare. All this running we have now would have just been way too much so it was time for a change. So far all is well and it's nice to have a change of routine.
    Peace everyone,

    Julie

Welcome back Debbie. I can't imagine what it must be like to live in another country. I would guess some of it is an adventure and a nice change for a while but maybe there are some conveniences we are used to that we would miss. Like our favorite fast food restaurant and things like that. And I'm sure there will be things you miss from Germany like great beer and strudel.
Great to hear from you. I don't know if we can still post pics or not but maybe you could try to post some of your new house. How exciting.
How is your older daughter doing? I'm sure she is happy that you are closer to her now. Only a road trip away hopefully.

I hope you are all adjusting to the move okay,

    Julie
