  Weaned/walking/still not sleeping through the night. Reply Contact Well the girls are pretty much weaned.  It's been a few weeks for Elizabeth and about a week for Katherine.  WHOOHOO!  Very excited to have my boobs back, lol.  Elizabeth is walking, little slow poke that she is.  Oh she just laughs and laughs and laughs at herself while she walks.  It's a riot to see.  Katherine is still not sleeping through the night, that little night owl gets up at all hours.  We've tried toughing it out and that just doesn't work.  She doesn't care if it's been an hour, she'll still be howling.  We need to get her out of our room but it's hard with her not sleeping through the night.  We don't want her to wake the rest of the house.  *SIGH* one of these days...

Reply Contact  Patience woke up at all hours until well past her first birthday.  We finally moved her to a room by herself and let her throw her tantrums.  She understood at that point that it was time to be in bed but she wanted to be with us.  It was so hard.  At almost 10 months Chance is still up a couple of times a night, the only thing that has helped is time.  He is getting a little better each week.  As for the walking, I understand, Chance just started and thinks he is very cool.

Reply Contact Well we're getting better.  On the average she's getting up just once now and it's brief.  She just wants her music and ladybug light on and then she falls right back to sleep.  I wish they would stay on for the night.  I should try the radio and see if that helps instead of the CD.

Reply Contact JenniferR: She just wants her music and ladybug light on Lucy is the same way, so we got her one of those waterfall things that you can attach to the crib that she can turn on by pushing a button. Now there are times when I hear her wake up, then I hear her music start playing so I know she's listening to her music and watching her little fish swim and that's all I hear, it puts her back to sleep. Maybe something like that would work for you? Hopefully something works soon!

Reply Contact jack and abbey are only 3 months old, however when izzy was smaller, we had a fish mobile thing and he would wake up and push the button and watch the fish and fall back asleep...he also never shared a room with us, when he went in to a crib it was in the room he shared with james...
