    Security blanket or other?

Do any of your LO's have an absolute favorite blanket or teddy that they can't be without?  Kaelin has both a blanket and a pillow that go with her all over the house and sometimes in the car.  It's a really cute pink fleece blanket she calls "Bankie" and then she has this little Dora pillow that she can't live without.  It's cute, but frustrating sometimes when she starts crying for it.

Yes!  I don't know how he picked this blanket...but its a green blanket with brown bears on it.  He has to have it all the time.  And he ALWAYS has to hold the tag.  Sometimes he will even wake up in the middle of the night asking "tag? tag? mama where's tag?"  Then he takes the tag and rubs it on his lips and cheeks.

At night he has to have his stars pillow. Its a regular size pillow with a stars pillow case.  He just loves it.

I wish he would have chosen the cuter blankey that I picked out for him when he was little though!  DANG!  ha ha

And for the record - I've had to sew that damn tag on like 3 times already.  I suck at sewing! Stick out tongue

Andy started with his Wolfie(stuffed wolf) at the start of the summer. Its late to get a security item. It was crazy over the summer, but now things are better. I actually got another one, so I was able to wash him.....

Heartsong Bear!  A Care Bear that comes everywhere and has to go to bed with her every night.  She's been attached to it since she was about 10 months old.  She fell today and scraped her knee and told me that she needed Heartsong Bear because that would make it feel better.  I gave her the bear and she hugs it and smiles and forgets all about her boo-boo.  We lost it at Wal-Mart one day...luckily somebody was nice enough to turn in a ratty, old stuffed bear and later that night we called and found out they had it and promptly made the 30 minute drive to go get it!  I don't know what we'll do if we ever lose it.  I try to leave it at home or in the car as often as I can to keep it safe...lol.

Tell me about it!  Kaelin's pillow is beginning to look a little worse for wear and I don't think I can buy another one.  She'll go crazy if she ever loses it.  She was also attached to this stuffed kitty that I bought for her at Ikea so when we went back a couple of months ago I actually bought her another one just in case she loses the original.  Lately though, she's not so attached to it, but she still sleeps with it.  She rubs the tail on her cheek to help her fall asleep.

Evan has two blankets, a red Christmas one and a blue one with sports balls on it, he sleeps with those and has taken to carrying them around the house.  Both are the kind with silk on one side and fleece on the other.  Chase has one too, a blue stripped one, he's very attached to his.

Atreyu has two blue blankets that we have to take with us.  They both have the silk one once side, normal fabric on the other.  For a while he had a little stuffed dog  that had to go w/ us, then it was the elephant...
