    H1N1 anyone?

Lilah came down with a sudden fever Thursday night, and Friday we took her in. The Dr diagnosed a sinus infection, but I think it was more than that.  She is still coughing, and getting better very slowly, even after antiobiotics.  My sister (who does preschool in her home, where Lilah is during the week) and niece were both diagnosed with H1N1. Honestly, I am kind of hoping Lilah had it too, so we can stop worrying about it. I feel like a sitting duck, waiting for my turn.

Indy got really sick late thursday night fever of 102 and he was so hot to the touch and was throwing his little guts up all night...ended up in the er with him because he couldnt even keep a single cracker down or gatoraide...they told me oh he just has a bug give him motrin and tylonal to keep the fever down  and let him rest...then he had a dr appointment saturday morning and she gave him tamiflu...she didnt test him for the flu but gave it to him because of how sick he was...and she had a feeling that he might of had it....but didnt want to torture him with anymore tests..they had to pin him down and pry his mouth open to do a strep test and look at his throat...hes better now but it took all weekend and part of monday..it wasnt until sunday that his fever broke..so he had a fever ranging between 101-103.5 for 3 almost 4 days....it would go down a little with meds but after 2 hours it was right back up there...im sorry she got sick but at least shes getting better...

Bel had an upper respiratory infection and had a fever of over 102, up and down with tylenol/motrin, for 4 days.  Med's finally helped her.  I have family members with H1N1 right now, and it's very nasty.  I think Marion's family had it too!  Good luck to you and I hope she feels better soon!
