We just don't give it to her often.  She drinks from a regular cup at school though.

I just don't give him a chance to master it.  I don't want to clean up extra messes right now.  I know thats bad.  lol.

Colby's a dunce...lol  She doesn't put her mouth on it, but will put her chin inside the cup and then dump it straight back. She KNOWS how to do it, I've showed her a million times, but she just doesn't pay attention enough.  Kayda can do it just fine, but Colby...nope. So..I don't even bother right now. They get sippies at home, when we're out they get a cup with a straw or their sippy cups. People looked at me weird for the first time when I handed Kayda her sippy cup, but I don't care...she's thirsty and it's less mess for her even if she IS three years old.

I'm terrible, too.  I don't give him a chance to drink out of a cup because I don't want him to spill on his clothes.  All he gets are straw cups.  That's it.

Aadya has mastered in it. She drinks water and juice in regular glass we use and milk in her own glass, she picked up from superstore (It has mickey mouse printed on it). Her pre-school uses regular glasses for kids who are trained in it.

Teagan drinks pretty well from a cup, but like Denise said, at mealtimes she tends to knock it over with her elbows. DH and I have gotten lazy about sippy cups and usually give her a regular one, but if we fill it more than half-way she's more likely to spill it - of course! She does still use her Kleen Kanteen a lot. It usually gets filled with water, and she totes it around the house all day. We're about to switch that to a sports cap, though. We'll see how she does with that.

Kate does great with the cup, but she can only have at the table.  No walking around with it.  She will hit it with her elbows every now and then, but it's been a while since she's done that.  She drinks out of a cup and school, so we figured we might as well go with it.
