    Andy's Test Results

Got the call this morning....he has high abnormalities on the left side of his brain, resulting in a high risk for seizures.  He'll be put back on seizure meds and we'll just watch him closely!!  He'll have a follow up appt the middle of December to figure out what happened and why after over 1 year 10 months this happened.

good news is that he hasn't had any seizures since that one last week.  His doc feels that the "staring spells" that he has where we can't get him "back" for a good 7 - 10 seconds are just a result of his previous brain injury and not a seizure.

I hope the meds can keep the seizures from occurring and that Andy continues to heal from all that he's been through.  I'll be thinking of all of you!

Thanks for letting us know, Barb.  I've been thinking of you guys a lot.  I hope that the meds will control the seizures and that Andy can continue to grow and develop without having to deal with another hurdle.  Hugs!

I'm glad you guys have something solid to work with now. Is this all related to what happened to him? Or is it something unrelated? In any case, I hope that the meds will make it so you don't have to go through seizures anymore!
