Christmas is coming, before we know it!

Wow, it's been dead here lately...!  But I'm posting anyways! :)  Looking forward to Christmas but am sort of wondering WHAT in the world I"m going to get Leighton!!  I like to generally do one sort of "bigger" gift...but I really don't know anything she wants and/or needs....so I just don't know!  I have a few small things but need help! :)  So that's where you lovely ladies come in....what are you getting your 4 year olds for Christmas this year??

    Hi Korin,

it's been so long since I posted here (it's all Facebook's fault Wink). Christmas will be here before we know it, but I still haven't got a clue wat to get Erol. Isn't it sad that we can't think of anyhing because they really, truly have so many things already? Anyway, I think we'll just get him a couple of little things (playdough, wii games, etc.). Sorry I'm of no help really.

Hope Leighton is feeling better soon.

    Hugs,

    Nuran

     Yeah, Facebook here too!

The ONLY think Katelyn talks about is getting a train. So, we bought he and her brother a huge train set. I am splitting it up so they both get to open it. It is large enough for them to both make their own tracks.

Legos, Legos, Legos!  lol  I also bought Chason a Wii game and some PJ's.  I thought about getting him the Leap Frog Tag system, but he already has a Leap Pad and TONS of Leap pad books passed down from big sis.  If you use this link http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=186596458360&ref=ts#/topic.php?uid=186596458360&topic=11297 you can find 2 coupons for it, each $10 worth.  Both can be used at the same time at Target, where the system is on sale for $39.99 right now.  Final price would be $19.99!

For Ashlyn we got her a digital camera.  I plan on getting her a bunch of dance clothes too.  She's at the age where she doesn't play much with toys anymore.  When she was Chason's age, she was really into Strawberry Shortcake and My Little Ponys.

Re: Christmas is coming, before we know it!

Thanks Ladies!!! Becky - LOVE the pic's!!! I may have to post the ones we took yesterday on here...I don't want to post them on FB becuase my family is on there, and I don't wnt them to see them (it's what we're using on our Christmas cards!) :)  So maybe I'll post them here too!  I seriously don't know WHAT else I'm going to find for her.  Chrissy - Leighton LOVES Legos too, but she has a crapload already...I really can't imagine buying anymore! LOL! They are a GREAT toy though.  I may get her something My LIttle Pony, she has a few of those & really seems to enjoy them....so that's an option.  One of the best ideas I had (roller skates) I gave to my sister, so my sister's going to buy them!! :)   Anyways, keep the ideas coming!!!! I think I'll go and post our Christmas pic's too! :)

Of course!!! :) You are more than welcome to!!    We had fun doing it, though the "snow man" was a bit challenging! :)

I'm SO sorry to hear she was crying becuase she wanted to play with Leighton on the beach! That is too funny!  Leighton does the same thing when I'm looking at pic's of friends & stuff online, she always wants to know who they are and if she can play with them! LOL!   We definitely need to coordinate a meet-up in Orlando or SOMETHING....I think we're about 3 hours away from you or so?

     Yes, You're my friend :)

Yes, we should get together! Mapquest says we're about 2.5 hours away from Palm Bay. Which sounds about right, maybe closer to 3. It was 2 hours 03 minutes to Kennedy Space center the last 3 times we went. I think the kids would have a blast!

Oh man, I passed by both of you last month.  My cousin got married in Vero Beach, so we came down for a week.  (I've got some pics on FB)  We're heading to Miami next July for Ashlyn's dance competition/cruise.  It's going to be a crazy week, but if I can squeeze it in, I'd love to meet you guys!

Re: Christmas is coming, before we know it!

     great pics!

you could get a lego organizer thing. I forget what they are called! I want one. ;) it's plastic boxes that sort the legos and put all the small ones in the bottom, etc. :) great little thing. wish I could think of the name! ;)

Eli is getting a wooden marble run. little wooden things you stack up and then send a marble down? sounds like fun and he is starting to do that on his own so we are "helping" his creatine along. we are going to disney so he will get to pick out one thing there and I am sure I will buy him somethign else. he will also get some hotwheels. and some stocking stuffers.activity book and probably some regular books.

I also have to figure out what to get him for his 5th birthday (I bring stuff from the states when I am there cause the selection is so much better) I am thinking some board games, some games for the DS, etc. maybe a larger thing cause it appears like we will have some extra luggage space but I will buy it in january not for christmas. :)

Oh cool!  Maybe we could all (Becky too!) meet in Downtown Disney or something....I don't have passes to Disney right now! :(  That is not the best of weeks for me to be going to Orlando though as it's my last week before vacation! :(    Maybe we could squeeze in that Sunday (the 13th) though that's the first day you get there, that might be sort of hard for you....well, it would definitely be awesome....!!!!
