    Calm Babies

Hi fellow moms.. just amazed and how calm my October baby is compared to my previous children. I wonder a lot about that. I thought I would ask my other moms in the October baby club. Have you noticed the same thing? I see that she is a thoughtful baby, likes people and music. Anyone else have a comment on that?

I have also noticed the same thing with my baby Joy. She is very calm, is not fussy and sleeps alot better than her elder sister..She is now 5.5 months. Her sister Joy really used to cry alot and did not sleep much. Although still I think each child is different and unique regardless of month born. Have a nice time with your baby. Esther/Kenya

my daughter is also very calm. my family and friends always say that my husband and i dont know how good we have it. oh and by the way this is our first child. from the day we brought her home she slept 6 hours and now she is 5 1/2 months and is doing anywhere from 10 -12 hours a nite. im so afraid to have another one b/c of the fact that i was so spoiled by my first my 2nd is going to cry all the time. i can say that my daughter does cry when she doesnt get all of her naps in or if she is overwhelmed. but for the most part she doesnt cry. sunday we went to a baptism and there was about 10 kids and music and adults talking, she fell asleep in the middle of all of this. my daughter also loves other people and children. maybe ill just have to have my next in october too if it the month of october that is making babies calm.....hahahaha!!! oh yeah i drank so much soda during my prego that my mil would say stop b/c you are going to have a hypper baby....well what is her thought on that now...hahahahaha!!!

My first child was a October baby (2001) and my second is a November (2007) baby ... (don't even know why I am looking on this board - just being nosey i guess) but to answer your question you can have 2 calm babies ... I have proof... I was afraid the second time around because all you hear is if one was good then the other will be completely opposite but I can say both of mine have been wonderful babies ... cry when hungry and that is about it ... both were on a eating every 4 hour schedule from the time they came home from the hospital and both slept through the night by the time I went back to work ... so there is such a thing as 2 good babies ... (however, I did have a tubal this time ... don't want to risk it again!!!)

My babay Nick was born on the 20th and he is not realy calm he is actualy kind of silly he started yelling at us when he was just 3 months old not in a crying way but just to yell. He is a lot better behaved than my other babies were such as he dosent cry as much and when he does cry it is easy to fix what ever the problem is

i havent really noticed that, jayden is a really good baby though, he sleeps throught the night, i put him to bed at like 730 or 8 and he sleeps and then wakes up at like 7 in the morning and sometimes at 630, but he does love people but is very shy, hes actually loves to look at everyone so i cant feed him in public cause he wants to see whats going on all the time, but he is a really good baby and the only time he ever fusses is when he is really hungry,
