i think im losing my mind

Okay so im 26 weeks now, and im an emotional wreck. Ive always been a pretty well put together person, not very emotional. But now im a wreck everything infuriates me or makes me cry. My poor husband says im like a completely different person. Im so excited about the baby but i feel so ugly and fat. My husband doesnt look at me the same and i just feel so unattractive. My mom says i havent gained that much but 25 lbs is alot to me. Any help before i go insane?

Well your hormones have alot to do with your emotions. And about the fat part don't worry about it- being fat is part of being pregnant- so enjoy every minute of your pregnancy because it does not last forever. To end this just remember pregnant women are beautiful. Good luck with your pregnancy.

it gets better. I lost it a lot during my pregnancy. Just try and pick something positive or something you like to do anythig to make you feel better. Trust me i feel your pain. I wanted to kill my bf i felt horrible fat and ugly and I wanted to kick our carryouts a** for flirting with my bf. Its all normal. It'll get better to there's always good n bad days

I found that walking did wonders for me. Not only did it help me feel better physically, but mentally as well. Depending on the weather, I would walk for up to 1 hour on my treadmill while watching my favorite (previously recorded) show, or I would walk outside. Another perk is that studies show that walking/exercising will make your delivery easier. More importantly, it will enable your newborn baby to soothe themselves better than they otherwise would have been able to. Best of luck to you!

Girlfriend, If you weren't an emotional wreck then you wouldn't be pregnant!! This is what its all about! A very wise woman who was married for 30 years told me that the more you put your husband through the longer it lasts...lol Talk to him about it, sometimes men don't realize the expressions they make can hurt you. I have been crying everynight of the olympics! You have to look at yourself and remember that you are not the same, you will never be the same again and find enjoyment in this change of life. Start keeping a journal so you never forget these feelings. It might help you relax and appreciate this experience.
