    need help about my blood report

    Hi ....i got my blood test in my 4th week.i got my results today and the nurse said everything seems to be normal but i need to take blood work again becos i had the test too early.should i worry about it...any help is appreciated....thanks

    What levels are they testing?  If they're testing your pregnancy hormone levels, they may just need to compare the two.

    Thanks..... they said everything was normal but they have to check the progress of the baby growth....

    That is a very positive note! I always ask the doctor to do those test with me (this baby is #4 for me). I went in one Monday and the level was 34. Anything over 10 or 11 is a positive result. I went back two days later and it was 159!! It more than doubled so it's a good pregnancy. Good luck!

    My dr wouldn't see me til I was 6 wks along.. so maybe that is what the want to wait on--to give the baby a chance to get really growing.
