kind of rediculous but i have to ask if anyone else has delt with this

my son is 91/2 months old i stopped nursing him about a month month and a half ago, when i run out of formula i have had my sons father say things like why dont you just start giving him regular milk?his mother nursed her kids and did esentially go straight to whole milk but having educated my self as well as i could on what is best for my baby , it drives me nuts when he says that and even though im confident he would never go behind my back and do something with Evan im not comfortable with the idea of 'what if' he gives him a bottle of whole milk? even after exsplaining to him what harmful effects it could have hes still tried to push it once. do any of you other mothers ever have to deal with things like this?

It's called Maternal instinct. This is why no matter how great my man is with our son, I will not leave him alone with him. It's like they just don't get it. Of course my son is only 3 months old, but it will be awhile before I can trust them alone.
