Big Girl bed

  GretchensMama Joined on 09-25-2006 Gretchen Adelaide 5/4/07 Due 12/29/09 Posts 9,256	Big Girl bed Reply Contact So last weekend we transitioned Gretchen in a twin bed.  The first night, she feel out of bed once.  The whole rest of the week was fine.  We took the crib out of her room yesterday and last night she feel out of bed 3 times.  Coincidence?

  Re: Big Girl bed Reply Contact  Hrm, I'm not sure. Do you use the little guard rails? My boys are still in cribs. Finley won't sleep on a regular bed, floor, nap mat or anything. We have tried many times and I had to pick him up from his first day of Mother's Day Out because he wouldn't nap on a nap mat lol. Maybe just make sure you have the guard rails until she's more used to it and then have some pillows or blankies on the floor to cushion the fall?

  Re: Big Girl bed Reply Contact K has been in her twin sz mattress for a month or so and she 'rolls' out every now and then.  we had to put it on the floor since she climbed her crib AND the converted toddler bed it was crazy!  I would get the side rails until she gets used to it they have many choices from metal ones, plastic one's and inflatable ones.  not sure which one we will get K i gues we will see how she does when her 'platform' bed arrives
