so i figured it was time for a update on how we are doing....
It has been 8 weeks since indys surgery he is fully healed...and is doing great..he is potty training and loving it...he went 5 times today on the potty and only had 3 accidents...we learned that pullups arent working for him so i went and got him some of the gerber all in one training pants and then got him some of the plasitc covers for the regular underware and he caught on pretty fast that it doesnt feel good to be wet...the 3 accidents were when we just started the day off with underware..he loves being a big boy and i cant wait to have him fully trained so that i dont have to buy diapers anymore..still use diapers at night since he doesnt wake up for anything unless he wants a drink of water..
me and anthony are doing great...we have made the decision to have another baby but are waiting until 2011 after his next deployment so that we can have one of the trucks paid off and have at least 8000 in savings and so that indy is more aware of whats going on with his heart and can tell us if something is wrong..i want a girl this next time but hubby wants another boy...
anthonys oldest sister is getting married on the 19th and indy is the ring bearer so i will have pics from that and then his other sister got married on august 8th and is pregnant with a little girl due on november 30th...so its going to be a very interesting year to say the least...
i have lost more weight and am only 20 pounds shy of my goal...so go me....anthony has a crazy work scheduale right now but thats not new to me since he is back on a ship...he just lost one of his guys because of something stupid the guy did...we thought he was smarter than what he did...but that was taken care of...he is the work center soupervisor for 3 sections and is told by the high ups that he does more than he should...like he should task his people with the things that need done and he shouldnt be doing the work..but he gives his people the work to do and then goes and does the work with them and does other work on top of that...he got his emt transferred from pa to va so that he can be an emt on the ship...hes excited about that since it is another part of what he loves to do...anytime we go home he is always busy with the fire department and running emt calls..its what he loves to do in his free time and its his job in the navy..the fire fighter part anyways...
life has been easier since hes back on a ship its not as stressful..yes i like having him home every night when hes on shore duty but hes not happy sitting at a desk all day...he is happier on a ship doing his job..fixing things...so him being back on a ship has been a good thing for us..i am still on my birth control pills and that will be until after his deployment in 2011...its what we came to an agreement on so thats what we are going for...we dont argue and fight as much as we did when he was on shore duty behind a desk so that is a good thing..well i think that is all for now as i dont want to bore anybody with my life...
