    Pre-school?!

I know that some kiddos are in daycare but I was wondering if anyone enrolled their lil one in pre-school?!

a group of my friends (most of them teachers) started our own lil preschool that meets twice a month for now.  It's really cute to see K interact and pay attention and listen to the teacher!

another ? will you do public school, private or homeschool?! I know I have 2 1/2 yrs to go but I'm still un sure if we are going to do homeschool or public school.

I haven't enrolled Christopher into pre-school, but I might. We're moving in January and to be honest I am not sure what age pre-school starts at. Obviously before 5.. but do they go at 3 or 4?

Christopher will go to public school. I wouldn't mind homeschooling (my major is education in college) but I plan to hopefully work in a school someday so public school it is for us!

where we live right now indy will be 4 when he goes to pre school...and it will be free since its at a public school..and he will be going to a public school...even though grandma and pap pap are willing to pay for him to go to private...we decided its better for us and him to go to public..being in the military and moving around so much public school is easier to move around with.. so he will be in public...unless i decide later on to homeschool but i doubt that since hubby wants me to go back to work once indys in school..but by then i could very well have another baby on the way or already have one...

Gretchen goes to my Mom's house for daycare during the day.  When she is 4, I plan to enroll her in a public pre-school.  It is part of our public school system but is actually for deaf children.  Gretchen will be there as part of the "normal" peer group.

I'd like to get Riley in some sort of pre school/play group type situation. He loves playing w/other kids and it would ne nice for him to have a place to use some of his endless energy! I went to public school and it was just fine so Riley will too. If he wants to go to brophy prep for high school (it's a private "college prep" high school been around for ages in phx) that would be great with me. But I'd let him decide if he wanted to do that.

Pre school starts at age 3 around here. I plan on putting Kadence in next fall. She is such a little sponge and wants to learn everything her big brother is learning. Right this minute she is sitting next to me "doing homework." lol She is desperately trying to read. I think she'll do great next year.

I will enroll JoJo in preschool when she is 3 years old.  At the moment she receives services through Nevada Early Intervention due to her Apraxia os Speech.  The public school system will evaluate her in February to see ifshe qualifies for the preschool program offered through the state at our local elementary school.  If she doesn't qualify, then I will enroll her in a preschool program.  JoJo goes to preschool at the moment, but I think the school likes to call themselves a preschool eventhough it is more of a daycare type school in my opinion.

I am hoping to get Lena into the school I graduated from, for their 3 year old preschool class next fall...its a private Christian school so its a little spendy, but nothing more than we already pay for daycare...*crossing fingers!*

Finley receives services from ECI as well. He also has apraxia and has been undergoing a lot of testing. He will also be tested before his third birthday to see if he qualifies for the school's preschool program for children that need a little extra help. We had him in Mother's Day Out once a week but I took him out because it wasn't best for him. He did start once a week (Kieran too) for 4 hours with an in-home lady that is WONDERFUL. It's not a preschool but they do arts and crafts, sensory stuff and learn.
