    the pig is here too

Phil has it. went to the hospital this morning because of breathing problems. Today I started to cough exactly how he did and now Cooper is starting. I have a low grade fever, Cooper has none and Phil is 102.

We are taking Oscillo and it seems to be working. It is a homeopathic flu fighter and works for things jus tlike the swine flu. Phil will be missing work and Cooper will be missing school. We are all in our own rooms right now. I probably have the least comfy bed because I am on a cot. Oh well, the things we do as mom's. I just hope Cooper doesn't get bad.

I have asthma too so have to watch it. I can't really stop and rest though because I have to take care of the boys. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I am glad I am not too out of it to care for them so I will keep praying for that!

Hope you are all relatively well at least. Thinking about you Paula and Alden! That is my fearr. I don't want to have to go through that again with Cooper. We have been washing our hands so much and using lots of sanatizer.

I'm pretty sure Cady had it too. She had fever, aches, bad headache, prolonged nasty cough. She tested negative for H1N1 but the Dr. said it doesn't mean anything and the CDC isn't even recommending doing the swab because it's inconclusive. At any rate, hers turned into pnuemonia so be cautious if the cough goes longer than three weeks. I hope you all feel better. I've been sick for a whole month now (not H1N1) so I can really sympathize with those that are feeling it.

Oh no!  I hope you guys get over it quickly, though if it's H1N1, it'll be about 3 weeks recovery.  My sister thinks she had it and she said it wasn't until after 3 weeks that she finally felt normal and had her energy back.  Hugs!

I heard H1N1 is pretty much the only strain that is going around now!  I hope everyone feels better!  I haven't felt good in the last few days but it was more of a sinus thing.   It stinks to feel that bad, I can imagine how the little ones feel!

Laura - we opted out of the shot for many reasons but keep in mind just because you get the shot doesn't mean you won't get it. PLUS it takes up to 2-3 weeks before it starts to work effectively. So it would have been pointless if we would have gotten it. Which we have no plans to.

Cooper has a temp. Phil is on an inhaler and my chest has been hurting. I am still able to breathe so I am not tooo toooo concerned yet. The doc said to give it 7 days after the first symptom shows plus two extra days before going back to school/work. Cooper's behavior is ok with meds, even though he still runs a fever. But MAN that kid has been saying some weird things in his sleep.

We will kick it but it sucks at the same time! My and Cooper's lungs sound clear. It is Phil that was the most concerning I guess. The doc must have heard a little something because he listened to Phil, left the room and got an inhaler. Came back and told phil how to use it!
