    Putting On The Pounds

ME!!!.... Well, my wife too, obviously.... BUT ME!!! WTF!!!

Since the beginning of this pregnancy (#4 btw) I've gained about 20 pounds. Now I've heard of men gaining "sympothy pounds" when they're signifigant ladies get pregnant, but this is #4 and i don't think i gained more than 4 pounds for the others. :)

Honestly, i don't think it has as much to do with sympathy as it does to do with cravings..... and not mine so much as hers.  She's been craving homemade baked goods lately, so she's made 4 or 5 different kinds of cobbler within the past couple of weeks. As if cobbler, in and of itself, wasn't fattening enough.... you know you have to have ice cream with cobbler, sooooooo.

yeah, anyway 20+ lbs. any other guys gaining "sympothy" pounds?

I haven't gained, per-se, but I stopped losing (we were dieting). Our eating habits have completely changed; she's hungry more often, but often not hungry at the "normal" times. And forget restaraunts, becuase she seldom wants a "whole" meal :-)

We're at nearly 16 weeks. I expect to gain a few pounds, what with all the dietary abandon of cravings and higher-than-normal intake needs.

We take weekly pictures of her stomach. I've been thinking I should get some of mine too :-)

Not yet but i expect to as my wife doesn't finish a lot of her food as halfway thru dinner she'll get sick & shove the food at me in disgust. Funny thing is we both lost weight right before she got pregnant...we'll see how long that lasts!
