  Feeding... Reply Contact Hi everyone..I wasnt too sure where to post my question, I did not see a forum for it. My name is Tiffeny and I have a 3 month old baby boy. I have a few questions about when I should start feeding ceral with formula, baby ceral on its own, baby food, baby juice, and table food. I know he's still young but I everything I read and everyone I talk to..friends..family...even a nutritionist and the babys doctor has given me different information sooo I was interested in others opinions and what you all might have done with your children. So for those of you who take the time to help me out...THANK YOU :o)

  Re: Feeding... Reply Contact It really depends on the baby when to start baby food. They do say to wait as long as you can to give them anything- babies get their nutritional value from breastmilk or formula for the first 12 mos. They say to start out with a single grain cereal (I would say around 5 or 6 months) and see how the baby reacts. Your baby will show signs of being ready to eat- holding his head up right, grabbing for the food your may be eating, they need to beable to push the food back in their mouth with their tongue.... .... cant think of any others right now but there are others. neither of mine- girl is 4 1/2 yrs old and boy is 21 mos have liked babyfood. You can always use regular food. we skipped baby food and went right to pizza! so just dont take all the advice you are going to be getting too seriously cause every baby is different and you need to do what works for you and your family ! good luck and take care! paula
