Hello there,
Our baby boy was diagnosed with congenital diaphragmatic hernia on July 18, 2008. We are currently 32 weeks pregnant. Our baby will have special needs when he is born due to an underdeveloped lung and he will spend his first months in the NICU. He could have life-long effects including breathing and feeding issues. We have found several groups that focus on CDH support that have been helpful in our journey.
We live in Anchorage, Alaska and will be flying to Denver, Colorado to give birth at Denver Children's Hospital. We have family there and the hospital has the experience and equipment that our baby will need to survive.
His diagnosis is on the better end of the spectrum, but we still need all the prayers we can get. You can read more about our baby at www.carepages.com. The name of our care page is "JohnMichaelLarson" (no spaces).
