    Night training

Hi. My DD is 4+ yrs old.

She has been fully potty trained during day for about 3 yrs or so now.

I am having problems breaking her of "wetting the bed"....she wears pull ups still......i quit giving her drinks about 1.5 hrs before bedtime, and yet she still pees. I make her go right before bed and everything.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!

maybe take away the pull ups and use waterproof mattress covers?  She'll probably realize she's doing it if she gets soaked.

My 2 and 3 year olds still wet the bed occasionally, but I just change the sheets and mattress cover.  for the 2 year old who has more accidents, i also use the old crib mattress pad... so she has two layers... if it stays contained on the crib mattress pad, I just pull that and the sheet up instead of having to change everything.

On that new show "the Doctors" on CBS, Dr Sears said that most kids outgrow it by age 6.

    Hope this helps!

Not to discourage you ... but my son is 7 years old and still wets the bed at night unless we get him up around 11pm to go to the bathroom. He never wakes up - even when he is soaked!!! I have talked to the doctor and she says not to worry as long as he doesn't have problems during the day then it is something that he will eventually grow out of.
