I can no longer deny the signs that Lindsey is ready to start potty training. I'm probably the only one on this board who isn't excited to have their little one out of diapers. Probably because she's my last baby or the fact that I've trained 3 boys, so I know what I'm in for
. Call me selfish, but I kind of like going shopping and not having to drop everything to rush a toddler to the potty...
. But, Lindsey has been waking up from naps dry and is barely wet in the mornings, she tells me when she's gone poo, "Mama, poo stink."
She's started telling me when she's wet and has excellent verbal skills and a few days ago started asking to go potty (even though she did nothing every time she sat there).
So, yesterday was her first day in panties and she did alright. Today she's doing much better, so I'm happy about that. I'm hoping she trains as fast as her oldest brother did because by the time he was where she is, he was fully trained within two weeks. So, wish me luck!!!! Lord, grant me patience.
