    A Follow-Up From Tera's Black Friday Post

Who was brave enough to go shopping on Black Friday!?

I was going to before I went to work, but then I changed my mind and decided to get up at the normal time to go to work. A little while after I got home (around 4:00) I decided to go check out the sales at Old Navy and Kohl's (I dragged Michael along). Neither place was too super busy and everything I wanted was still in stock so it worked out well! I spent about $120 and got mainly clothes for myself (it's about time I indulged in things for me!) and a few Christmas gifts. I am ALL done with Christmas shopping, and I am glad that I didn't make the trek to the stores at 4:00 in the morning!!!

Oh, and I heard that some guy was killed (trampled over) and a pregnant lady was injured at a store in NJ because the crowds were horrendous when the doors opened!!

I did go shopping some but not til 9 a.m. My mom and sister went to Wal-Mart for the 5 a.m. sales and some of the items they didn't even get in so that was a bit frustrating for them. I did get some good sales at the outlet malls though for clothes for the boys and an outfit for Kieran's dedication tomorrow.

I ended up having to go to Target at about 10am, and it wasn't crowded except....around those stupid $5.98 movies they had out!  Two aisles were blocked w/people and their carts as they just stood there and stared at these movies like they've never seen movies before.  I noticied the toy section looked pretty crowded too but I didn't go over there.

I really hope they pass a law against stores doing this black friday crap anymore.  A man DIED over some cheap TVs.  How effing disgusting is that??????

Well I never went to bed on Thanksgiving like I did last year. I was at the outlet malls at midnight, went to Old Navy and that was a waste of time. Everything I wanted was in the sizes I needed and also the lines wrapped the store twice for the cashiers. I went to Childrens Place and hit jackpot. The lady behind me had some coupon she gave me and plus they had 20% dicount for early shoppers. Then I went to Wally. Our Wally did a big no no this year. I had all the Black Fridays blitz items in my cart by 3am and walked around for 2 hours. The only items they had locked up were the mp3 players, video games and systems, the flash drives and cameras. I did get the power wheels for Jack they had on sale for $88 plus my mom wanted the pink leapster for my niece for $30 plus the sheet sets and a new bed set for our bed. We did good on all the sales and a few things done for gifts. Still need to shop but the big things are done.

I know, I can't believe humans would act that way over toys and electronics... killing another human, totally disgusting and upsetting about the holiday spirit.

I thought about going out on Friday so I looked through the store ads on Thursday night.  There really wasn't anything I was interested in getting.  I think most of the good deals are on video games and electronics, and I don't have any need for things like that.

Nice ! I was going to get the jeep for Dylan but decided against it. Alex has a Harley Davidson power wheels from when he was little so we will get that charged up and give to him.  I hit Walmart and am done except for one thing for Alex . Whew !

I didn't go out til about 9:30am, and then it was just to Wal-Mart.  I got all but one thing for Shaelyn, and came home with nothing for Carson!  The crowd wasn't too bad by mid-morning.  We're going to Lincoln this weekend, so I'm hoping to finish most of my shopping then!
