  An update on our family! Reply Contact Well, needless to say I am so overwhelmed. I want to thank Nicci for updating the board and thank everyone for the well wishes upon Colton's arrival. It was a much tougher labor than with Jackson which is not what I was expecting. I tried to go without an epidural but no such luck. I wouldn't progress past 6cm after 14 hours so when they threatened pitocin on me I gave in to the epidural. He was born 2 hours later! Anyway, I don't have Internet access at this new house yet but I get on PW via my phone. I don't know how to put pictures on here with my phone but my sister updated the baby's website with my full birth story under the baby journal and put a few pictures on too. Reply Contact OMGosh Colton is precious and Jackson is so handsome and looks so proud.  I love the picture of Jackson all bundled up sleeping.  I can't believe that new little man of yours doesn't like being naked.....I thought they all did.  I'm sooooo happy for you Ash.  Isn't it crazy having a newborn again????

  Re: An update on our family! Reply Contact The picture of Jackson wrapped up is from one night when he wanted to be swaddled and held like Colton was. I wrapped him up and held him and he was asleep within 5 minutes! It was crazy and so cute! Thanks for all your sweet comments ladies. He really is a sweet baby. I know Jackson will eventually be a great big brother. He really doesn't like the fact that Colton gets his milk from my 'boobies'. His exact words were 'Mom, that's awful!'. It got worse when he asked if he got his milk from my boobies when he was a baby too and i said yes. Now he asks if the milk in his glass is from my boobies or real milk. Oh the innocence of our children!

Reply Contact Congratulations Ashley!!!!!  I'm so excited for you!  It's funny that he is grossed out by the boobie milk, Reagan never cared that I was nursing Noah...I wonder if that's a boy/girl thing~LOL!  They are too funny!  I just told her that babies had to have special milk from their mommy and she was fine with that.  If he would cry she would tell me he needed milk...it fixed anything!  Actually, we had started talking about it a little before he was born and when she heard him cry from the hall after he was born, she looked at my sister and said, "Tori, he needs some milk from Mommy's boobies!"  Tori was so embarrassed, but it was funny!  Sorry, off on a tangent there!  Anyway, it is all overwhelming, but you will get into a routine quickly I'm sure.  In no time you will forget what it was like to only have one child.  You guys have fun and enjoy your time off together!
