Thanks for the responses!
Well, here's an update - I've been through everything up through the transfer and am now waiting to find out if it worked. Talk about stressful! We went through the fertility center in Albuquerque, which also has success rates in the high 60%, so very hopeful for good results.
Only thing I've run into was that we had some issues after the egg retrieval with the fertilization, but the doctor didn't give any indication that something like that would change the percentages of success, once we had a successful transfer, which we did.
I really have no idea what to expect now...first blood test is Tuesday so guess I'll know more then. But even if it's positive..not sure I'll really believe it until I'm really huge or something! Just a big waiting game and trying to stay positive. Lots of the posts I've seen talk about IVF not working or taking many times to work...I just don't have the emotional power or finances to go through this multiple times, especially since my chances are limited anyways. So we'll see!
Keep ya posted...
