    Ovulation Question

I was wondering if it is possible to ovulate twice in a month??? The reason I ask is cause I noticed EWCM about 4 days ago, then it went away like normal and today I have it again! Is this normal?? Does this mean the possibility of twins?? lol Any help would be appreciated.

    Re: Ovulation Question

You for sure can...but I had the same thing and I wonder that as well. I felt as if I O'd twice. Then it never really went away like normal and It turned out I was pregnant. But as we all know everyone is different and who really knows whats going on. so like I said though yes you can O twice... Im not sure though if you do how close togeather it is. maybe its right away...or maybe its days apart.

well, I know you can release more than one egg in a cycle, but not sure that you ovulate two separate times within one cycle.  that being said, it made me curious enough to look it up.  I found this website, that says 'no' :

     http://pregnancy.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Can_You_Ovulate_Twice_in_One_Cycle

and this website that says 'yes, it is possible':

    Re: Ovulation Question

A woman was on the news recently when she gave birth to "twins" that weren't really twins...I forget the difference between the 2 eggs being released but it was at least a week. Enough of a difference that they were concerned about her delivering pre-term because the other was a good bit behind. She conceived the second after the first was already implanted and everything. EXTREMELY rare, but apparently can happen.
