My little one will be 3 in Oct! And she is as MEAN as ever, do not think I am lying to you on that. She only listens to her dad and strangers...doesn't care for one word I say. She hits me and calls me names...no matter how many times I put her time out. I can just imagine the teenage years. lol
My aunts child is like that. I came in from the pool and she was screaming at her mother, and kicked her in the stomach, my aunt looked at me and said "Tracy please help". So I grabbed her daughter up and told her how unacceptable that was and how I never ever wanted to see that again and made her say sorry right then and sat her ass in timeout. She started just calling names like "Stupid Face" which then turned into "***" so please nip it in the butt before she starts laying her hands on you. I remember when it was just "help me get W in the car" now its more....
I am sure you all know that I see nothing wrong with spankings, but there is a fine line. I would never place my hands on a child, but I worked childcare long enough to know that if you don't cut things out and let them know that you will not accept certain behavior they will walk all over you.
