    Whoa. this is a lot.

Since DH has Prostatitis he needs to BD often. He was told that the more often he BD's the better his symptoms will be. So, this is what he is doing..... CD 6 X CD 7 X CD 8 X EWCM CD 9 X EWCM CD 10 X EWCM CD 11 to tired late night CD 12 XX EWCM (that's right, twice in 5 hours!) Today is CD 13. I am due to O tomorrow but only the Lord knows with how my cycle was last month. But, I am on Thyroid again so maybe this will help. I guess I will have a chance though I am not near as optimistic as I could be with him having an infection and all.

DH fought about three rounds of prostatitis several years ago.  He had to be scoped to clear out his tubes for it to go away.  He hasn't had a problem since.  Sorry your DH is going through that.  You are very nice to accommodate the schedule, DH had to take care of himself at least half the time.

WOW Tina, surgery to correct it. That is intereasting. This is the 4th time my DH has had one. First one was abut 12 years ago, while we were engaged and not sexually active yet (we waited). He went into the ER and they didn't diagnose him, told him all his symptoms were in his head. Then he had his second episode about 4 years ago, they didn't diagnose him either. Last September he got his third one and was actually diagnosed. We were amazed that he had it twice before and no one could diagnose him (second time he went in 3 times for it) and with the third episode the doctor knew what it was as soon as he came in the room. He of course did the exam but knew it from the get go. This time we knew what it was when he went in and the doctor and nurse who saw him agreed he had all the symptoms. I keep wondering why he keeps getting them. As for today, my temp was real low this morning, it is CD 14, I usually O. Well this morning I did have a lot of EWCM but tonight as DH asks can we BD in a few after the kids are down, I notice it is more along the lines of sticky. So I must have O'ed real early. My breasts are already getting tender, well that could be the coffee I have had each morning for the last 3. Anyway, tomorrow's temp will confirm if I did or not. I don't want to get my hopes up but I can say it is a little better than the last 2 months. I even wonder if I should go ahead and use the progesterone like I am supposed to. Last cycle I didn't spot but that was just a crazy cycle. Thanks for all the well wishes ladies. I do appreciate it.

If your DH keeps dealing with it ask about the systoscopy (sp?).  DH was sore for a few days afterward but he hasn't had an infection in over 8 years.  I hope all the extra practice helped your TTC though.

If he gets another one I will tell him he needs to seriously consider that. I did tell him what your DH had done though I didn't know the name and he was like "I hope I don't need that". But if it helps I am sure he would rather do that. I am not doing well today, stomach bug, and he is asking to BD yet again. I told him he needs to wait a little while to see if I feel better and he is not all that happy about it. He told me if I gave him permission he would relieve himself but I won't consent quite yet. Don't want any habits starting.

Well, we are still at it every day! Tracy, they don't know for sure how men get them. It is the most unresearched area of medicine from what I read. Theory is that he may not be BDing enough (last month was terrible) However the first one he got was when he was still a virgin. So I don't believe that theory. Crazy as it is, we are just hoping he will get over it and never get one again.
