Hi Brittany,
I just lost the remainder of my baby weight and I can fully relate because I had zero motivation and my daughter was 17 months old before I really felt a desire to exercise again or take care of myself. I followed the Body For Life program by Bill Phillips, but they also have a book put out specifically for women. I would buy that book, Body for LIfe for Women. You don't need to belong to a gym.All you need to be successful is a set of weights (5,8,10,12 lbs) and your running shoes. I don't know how old or how many kids you have, but hopefully you can put a child in a stroller and go around the neighborhood or have someone watch them a few times a week.
I did it over a period of 3 months. Write down everything you eat. Have your picture taken for motivation. I find this program very easy to follow, not a diet, a lifestyle rather. I lost a lot of fat- I'm not going to lie, I worked really hard. But once you get going, you will find more and more motivation.
Also, make an exercise goal like sign up for a 5K run a few months from now and work slowly toward that by combining walking and jogging. I was never a runner, and I finished two 10K runs during my program.
Good luck
Lauren
