  the romance..like where is it??? Reply Contact Sometimes I feel all this bd'ing is a marithon instead of love making, romnce etc After ttc for 6 months, its taken its toll. My husband and I are older so maybe that has something to do with it. My husband is allways happy to abliged but it "lost" the romance. We can't afford a baby sitter etc so I'm thinking of free ideas to try. Sooooo What are some ideas to keep the romance during the low, peak and after O'ing? tyia Tonya

Just kiddin!  I know what you mean about it being a marathon.  I got in the habit of it being more of a mission then passion.  I finally gave up and don't even tell DH when it's O time, just give him that look or say something that lets him know it's go time.  Now, DH is a bit more passionate while I know we are bding for a purpose.  Do you have any friends you could trade free babysitting with?  My neighbors will take our boys in exchange for us taking their kids for a night.  That might help some.  I'd like to see other's ideas also.  Jill

Reply Contact to spice it up (and we had to...been ttcing for 8 months now), i just do some things out of character.  one thing i'm going to do tonight is cut his hair (which is normal), but in some lingerie or maybe nothing at all...of course, this happens when the kiddo is asleep.  i also wrote him a love note with lipstick on the bathroom mirror...the occassional sexy text message, that sort of thing. i was in quite the dump not too long ago and realized that part of the fun is being intimate, so i also had to change my own thinking. good luck!

Reply Contact DH got mad at me over the weekend bc we were at my mom's and he didn't want to.  So we waited until we got home.  Most of the time, we are too tired by the time the kids are in bed, so I usually pounce in the morning, as soon as the alarm goes off.  Or, I slip into the shower with him.  We do the baby sitting trade thing too.  We are about to move though, so we will have to rely on the kids being asleep until we find people we trust.  Um... if you both get hour lunch breaks, get a cheap hotel room, and meet up.  That could be fun.

Reply Contact    Well, I realized this morning that after I tell DH that I have O'ed, he usually stops...  And he's the one accusing me of only wanting to BD just to make a baby....  Total flat out rejections the last couple of days, and it made me think-it was like that last month too.

It's hard b/c I'm not the kind of person that wants it all the time regardless when not TTC so hubby knows I want it for a reason. We have gotten better about it though so I guess that is good. He just keeps hoping to get me pregnant again b/c I wanted it all the time while I was pregnant! LOL
