My husband and i are trying to conceive with very little luck. I'm starting clomid tomorrow. I'm super nervous and do not know what to expect... Any advice on the physical side effects?

Tomorrow will be my first day on Clomid. Anyone have advise? TTC for 10 months. Not feeling discouraged, just tired of waiting wondering why its taking so long.

Yesterday was my last day on clomid. The first 2 or 3 days it was ok, just minor hot flashes. But last night I woke up three times sweating. I hope it works!! Did it work for you? Thanks.

The first couple days went pretty much the same for me. At night when i was about to sleep if i put my hand over my ovaries i can feel stuff going on (kinda like popcorn popping.. thats prob a horrible way to describe it lol but I don't know any other way LOL) nah the first round didnt work :( my hormone levels were now were near where they are supposed to be so my doctor said that if i don't menstruate by the end of the week he'll give me stuff so that will happen and then double my clomid dosage. People have said that it can take a little while for you body to get used to it so I'm trying stay positive and hope for the best on this upcoming second round. Good luck to you guys, I'm hoping for the best!

    Re: First time on Clomid

I've been taking clomid for a while now. I just miscarried on July 4th. I have MAJOR hot flashes and I hate it. Other than that, I really don't have any other side effects. Just a little FYI -Recently my doctor told me that my cervial muscus was thick and the sperm may have had a problem getting to the eggs. He said that the thick CM can be a result of the clomid. While Clomid helps the eggs develop, it does other things too.

What does your doctor recommended to do for that? I've heard that some women take Robitussin for that.

I've been taking clomid for 8 months and my main side effect is hot flashes all day long. Otherwise, its not too bad to be on.

I'm so sorry about your miscarriage my prayers are with you and your family. How long were you on clomid for? Whats the next step after they found that the CM was thick?

    Re: First time on Clomid

Today is my 9th day since my last pill and I don't think I've ovulated. I just saw CM on day 7 after the pill and thought that it will work, but after that no CM, just feel a little wet and a some pain or cramps. I think I'll try Pre-seed next month. I don't know what to do, my doctor didn't ordered any blood test nor other studies to see if clomiphene work on me. I start taking my temp but is too low... 36.3 degrees. I've been BD since last Sunday (08/24). Do you have any advice? Thanks.
