I have only hosted one shower @ my house. Afterwards I have done them @ the expecting moms house. I go over early with another friend and get everything ready clean, food, decor, set up & then stay till the end to clean up. This way she doesnt have to stuff a million things in her car and carry them in the house. They are already there!

I am thinking about throwing my own shower because every time iv had a shower b4 I had to go on my mother in laws time it was all surrounded around her and she always makes my side of the family uncomfertable. so I thought maybe it would be better for me to do it at my place so that its on my time and im not stressed over her and so that i dont have to haul prizes around i can just put em away when all is gone after the party. and i can make it my way. how did it go with you ? did it go well ?
