    bleeding during pergancy

I have been bleeding for 7weeks straight. I am now almost 16 weeks and my doctor has kept a close eye on the bleeding. The bleed is in a good spot to come out and is not hurting the baby. the baby has been growing well and seems to be healthy and strong. Last night a 3x4in. clot passed through. I was so surprised and it is a holiday weekend so i can't call my doctor. Thier was not a lot of bleeding, or any pain. What could this be? I am trying to keep my focuse and joy in the Lord.

Even though it is a holiday weekend, you should be able to get call a doctor. All hospitals have to have an ob on call all hours of the day. I would call the hospital that your doctor works with and ask who is on call. That dr (it may even be yours) will call you back and direct you what to do. I would not wait until Monday.
