40 weeks and 6 days, still no name -- what do you think about...

Finnegan? Finn for short... I love it! My husband seemed to like it last night, but it might have been the 3 IPAs he had, hahaha Should I still stick with the original middle name (family name) of "Blake"?

    Finnegan Blake Martin?

    Thoughts?

Be kind! I'm hugely pregnant and am desperate for a name I love!

I like it and you seem to like it which is what truly matters.  It sounds like a good name to me.

I really like it.........it sounds like you do too, so I would say to go with it! Finnegan is an unusual name, and I think that's what's cool about it. Anyway, good luck with your delivery, sounds like you're close. Don't worry, that name is really nice........just make sure you like it......that's all that matters.

I like Finn but I am not too sure about Finnegan. It reminds me of that song...

There was an old man named Michael Finnegan He had whiskers on his chinnegan They fell out and then grew in again Poor old Michael Finnegan Begin again..

I really like Finn....not so sure about Finnegan.  It reminds me of a children's show I used to watch as a child.  There were 2 puppets....Casey and Finnegan.  How about Finley instead?  That is on my "list."

Finley seems too feminine, I know a few people considering that for a girl.

I like Finley/Finlay or Finnian, or even just Finn. Finnegan is too... finicky and fiddly.

I think if you love Finnegan, you should use it!

& Finnegan Blake sounds like a great combo!

One of my best friends middle names is Finn - honestly.. I LOVE THAT NAME! Finn Blake Martin is really really awesome. It is a cute little boy name and a strong adults name. I imagine how my kids names are going to look on wedding invitations (silly i know)..

OK I wouldn't have thought of Casey and Finnegan...

BUT if you use the nn of Finn, I think it'll be ok. Do you like just Finn Blake Martin? Seems a bit choppy so that's why I like Finnegan Blake. It's a very nice, manly name. I also think about what the name will look like when they get older.

    Good luck! You're so close!
