  is anyone else being annoyed Reply Contact yeah i undrstand i am a teen and pregnant but i live with my boyfriend and his mother not because i have to but just because i can ....but people in my family forget that i'm grown ....well the story is a certain family member had a baby shower today and i didn't know anything about it ...no invitation and nobody told me ....then my father calls me today and says do you want to go she went to yours ...i said okay assuming that it would be later in the day ...i asked so when are you coming to pick me up he tells me in an hour .That was like 10 am this morning ...it wasnt even like i was up he woke me up out of my sleep ....was i wrong for saying i don't want to go....i think these people forget that i'm 39 weeks pregnant ,i barely sleep , i try to help him out and watch his children during the week and then i have little family myself

I mean seriously, your 39 wks, Id take advantage of the sleep while i could.  And since you didnt receive and invite or anything, Lack of planning on thier part shouldnt constitue and emergency for you. And wow, no offense but how dare someone guilt you by telling you "well she went to yours" thats downright mean.  ..If you feel like it maybe send her a baby shower card or get something for the baby when it comes if you feel like it. You have your hands full right now anyway. I bet if you let her know why you couldnt attend she would understand. Good luck and early congrats on your baby! Candice in Colorado
