    pregnancy over 36

I will be turning 37 in august have been trying for third baby the past three months did not find out if i am pregnant yet. my husband and i had sex two days before ovulation and the day of ovulation and after that (2 days after) what are the chances anyone think of us being pregnant. my first two pregnancies had no problems getting pregnant , i know after thirty five a little harder, i am in good health, and i am hoping that the third time is a charm as they say. does anyone out there have any opinions on this topic.

With my first at age 30 it took 3mths to get pregnant ... with my second at 36 it took 5mths ... and I never even looked at a calendar until the month I conceived so yes I would say your chances are very good ... just because we're older doesn't mean we're not fertile!!!!

My first baby was born after I turned 36. My second was born when I was almost 39. My third was born when I was almost 42. I am currently 14 wks pregnant with my 4th and I am 45. No IVF, no donor eggs, no IUI... just me and my husband and a little Chinese medicine (acupuncture and herbs)! I consider myself very lucky. I am 37 and found out 4 weeks ago that I am finally pregnant, we tried for exactly a year and 2 months ago my dr put me on clomid, the first round did not work but the second round did, the clomid makes you crazy but it worked, maybe you should ask your dr about it. We are so happy and due in April. Dont give up hope keep trying. Practice makes pregnant! good luck, by the way this is baby #4, my other 3 are 18, 16 and 14.

angela, Just wondering if you had any luck? I will be 38 in three weeks. I am 31 weeks pregnant with my 4th child. We had sex seven days after the first day of my period. I'm pretty sure that is when it happened. Also I heard somewhere that when you have sex you should try (if nature allows) to have sex more than once the same night. I didn't get the reason why just it supposed to work better. I agree we did it three times. My other children are 3, 17 and 19 This one due in Nov

Hi Paulette, This is Angela, No Luck yet hopefully this month, The only that bothers me is that on the 18th of july i had a miscarriage, got my period exactly 30 days later, NO D&C all natural, then got it the next month 25 days (5 days earlier) so I bought the digital opk tests to see if they work. Congrats on your pregnancy, I just met a woman over the weekend who is 44 with her third pregnancy due next month > I think that is awesome !!!!! I have a 9yr old and a 2 yr old. were exactly are in northeast pa , that is were i am from. i would like to keep in touch. we can exchange email if you would want to.

I'm sorry about you miscarage. I know how it can be. I had a mis with my first preg. I had two babies and another mis. I had a tubal when I was 22 and a reversal at about 29. When I finally got pregnant I had a tubal preg. The doctor took my right tube out. I figured I would never get preg. One year later I was preg with my daughter who will be three on Monday. Now I'm having another. Maybe it was my right tube that was giving me trouble. My cousin who was not ovulating and her husband only has one testical, and he was not swimming. They had a four year old. She finally gave away or sold her baby stuff. The next week she found out she was pregnant. Try not to get discouraged.I was from the Wilkes Barre area. I have moved in with my childrens father. He lives in Tamaqua. Please don't hold that against me. It's ok but different people have different opinions about Tamaqua. My email is paulettewon@aol.com
