    Lortab while breastfeeding???

Is it safe to take lortab while breastfeeding? I read it is classfied as L3 --same as Tylenol #3 --which is what I took immediately PP in the hospital and when i came home. What do you think??

I think Tylenol 3 and Lortab are almost the exact same thing.  Isn't Lortab 5/500 hydrocodone/acetaminophen?  I am a breastfeeder and I take Lortab periodically for severe back pain.  I try to take it only when necessary and not in conjunction with other meds.

It might affect your nursing, though.  It makes Aizy a little sleepless and it makes it hard for my milk to let down.  Probably from the numbing action.
