    Indecisivness...

My husband and I could not agree on the baby's name. Finally, we decided to name our next son (due 11/12) Hayden Argos. I've loved the name Hayden since I was in high school. I can't help but feel like it's not the right name though. People tell me it's just because I know I'm not having anymore children after he's born...Help!! Am I going crazy? Should I try to find a new name this late in the game? My husband's pretty set on Hayden now. It just feels so awkward to say it...

Your definately not crazy.. :) & I have to say picking a name can really be a challenge.. the name has to be perfect, or so we all think... lol.. It is never to late to change the name, just think about it this way, you have until the nurse asks you "so whats your son's name?" to decide.. and then after you can always change it (through the legal system of course). One of my girlfriends had a name set for her baby girl, it was gonna be Olivia, for 9 months.. Olivia it was, even the baby shower and her room had the name Olivia ALL OVER, until her husband as soon she gave birth said, "I dont like that name, lets name her Hannah".. so they changed it. It makes sense that your indecisive because this will be your last child. I will say this too, for years my Husband has been set on the name Braydon (I'm having a boy too) and at the beginnnig I said NO WAY!! sounds girly.. but after a while, and saying it over and over, it has really stuck to me and I cant imagine naming my son anything else. Try saying the name over and over & see if the akward feeling goes away. If you really think you want to name him that , come up w/a different name and see if you can mix Hayden and your new name together.. It'll be creative and he'll be the only one named that name! Wish you the best and whatever you decide I'm sure your son will have the PERFECT NAME!! :)

I feel for ya! It took us awhile to agree on a name for our little girl... Zariah Madison Rain... Somedays it feels awkward but i have a few outs..... All my kids have 2 middle names, That way i can call them their first middle or second middle name. It changes it up a little bit. Like my oldest ds is skylor micheal lee.. I can call him sky, skylor, micheal or micheal lee. With my dd her name is alexis mackenzie mae, I have called her ali, lexi, lex, Macky, kenzie, macky mae, and mackenzie mae, :) with my youngest though his name is Trysten Andrew lee. He only gets trysten when he is in trouble. But he usually goes by andy, even at school. So Miss Zariah already goes by z z, maddy, rainy girl, Zary and baby kicks alot lol. Just have fun with the name! good luck to ya

I never thought about being unsure of your baby's name having to do with it being your last.  Makes sense!!  We are finally getting our baby girl and I cannot come up with the perfect name.  I never had this much trouble naming 3 boys.  I think it's especially because it's a girl and she's different.  IDK, but it's driving me crazy.  GL with the name!!!

If we were going to have a girl I wanted Heyden, like Heyden Penetierre (SP???) is that her last name, from the show Heroes?  She also does the advertisements for Kohl's.  I love her name!

Our little boy's name has been picked out for years.  If my DD was a DS she would have been Charles John.  Charles after my FIL who was killed by a drunk driver while walking his dog and John after my 89 year old uncle who is a saint!
